This is a Gallery of Paintings and Drawings I did in recent years. Unfortunately over the years I have not always kept the photos of the works, partly because I did not think I need it. Since Draw & Paint was born, I understand the importance of having a portfolio of works. I hope to build it in the next years, in the meantime, here there are some of my work. Some of them are not real painting, but just simple studies carried out for the blog. I hope, however, you like them.

This is probably one of the most popular tutorials on my italian site. The article is a translation of an article written by the artist Byron Pickering on Wetcanvas. Here I wanted to pay tribute to the work of Pickering, creating my own version of the painting.

This is an exercise that I made for a blog post on italian website. The aim of this exercise was to illustrate both the steps to make a simple still life and to show how to prepare the basic colors of a painting.

This is a exercise I made for a blog post on italian website. The article was inspired by a tutorial on SimplyPainting website. The author of the website, Frank Clarke, is inspired by the Bob Ross technique, American artist known to American audiences for the hit television series Joy of Painting. The technique of Ross is very fun and simple to put into practice. It is a series of recipes to paint landscapes quickly and easily.

This is an exercise that I made for a blog post on italian website. The work is made with colored pencils on a 10×15 cm cardboard and represents the extreme close-up of a cat. The goal was to illustrate how it is simple coloring with colored pencils.
Venetian Landscape

This is an exercise that I made for a blog post on italian website. The work represents a Venetian sunset landscape. The goal was to create a simple landscape with a sunset sky full of clouds whose colors are reflected in the lagoon.
Amy Winehouse Caricature

For my italian blog I made a course about caricature that is a translation of tutorials published on Tom’s Mad blog. In the last lesson I did an Amy Winehouse caricature. Amy Winehouse, singer of extraordinary talent unfortunately died recently. was a singer with extraordinary talent. This caricature is also a tribute to his talent.
